Estimates only

Every result on CargoSum is an estimate, calculated instantly in your browser from the values you enter. This applies to CBM, chargeable weight, container load plans, pallet counts and freight class, and equally to the results of the site's other calculators, such as LTL density, linear feet, trailer loading, fuel surcharge and demurrage. A result is not a quote, not a confirmed booking, and not a binding commitment from CargoSum, a carrier or a freight forwarder.

The calculators cannot account for every real-world factor, including dimensional tolerances between container manufacturers, whether a load can actually be stowed as planned, dunnage (materials used to support and protect cargo), each carrier's rules for rounding up weights or volumes, and the details of carrier tariffs. Before you ship, book or buy, confirm the final dimensions, weights and container fit with your carrier or freight forwarder.

CargoSum is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for any loss, cost or damage arising from reliance on results produced by the site.

You may use CargoSum free of charge for personal and commercial purposes. Please do not scrape, republish or access the site with bulk automated requests in a way that interferes with other people's use of it.
